What to Expect as a Member

Welcome!

When you join our plan, we'll confirm that you are enrolled, or if we need more information to complete your application.

Once you're enrolled, you'll receive:

  • A letter stating that you’re a member in our plan
  • Your Coventry member ID card (usually within 14 days)
  • A complete description of your coverage (see your Evidence of Coverage)
  • A list of prescription drugs your plan covers, if your plan includes prescription drug coverage. (See your List of Covered Drugs)
  • Any billing information

Aetna Medicare is a PDP, HMO, PPO plan with a Medicare contract. Our SNPs also have contracts with State Medicaid programs. Enrollment in our plans depends on contract renewal.

Members who get “Extra Help” are not required to fill prescriptions at preferred network pharmacies in order to get Low Income Subsidy (LIS) copays.
